LOW THD FILTERS
TTE offers passive filters that are uniquely designed for low Total Harmonic Distortion characteristics. These low distortion filters (low THD filters) improve Analog to Digital Conversion (ADC) and Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC) testing by reducing the harmonics inherently present in signal generators. Refer to TTE’s technical tip entitled “The Benefits of Low THD Filters for ADC/DAC Testing” for more information. A THD Test Procedure is also available.
If you are involved with ADC/DAC testing in the GHz range, please refer to TTE’s technical tip entitled “The Need for High Frequency ‘Brick Wall’ Filters“ for helpful information.
The table below provides an overview of TTE’s series which offer a low THD filter option. Each series name links to the relevant series webpage, where guidance is provided on how to order the low THD (“T”) version of the filter.
